Dhanbad/Lucknow/Hajipur ।
The South Eastern Railway has announced significant changes in train operations due to the implementation of a rolling block in the Adra Division and ongoing construction work at Lucknow railway station. These adjustments include cancellations, partial terminations, route diversions, and additional halts for select trains.
According to the official notification, the following train services will be affected:
Train No. 18019/18020 Jhargram–Dhanbad–Jhargram MEMU Express will remain cancelled on July 30, 2025, due to maintenance work on the route.
Train No. 68079 Bhojudih–Chandrapura MEMU, departing on August 1, 2025, will be partially terminated at Mahuda station instead of going all the way to Chandrapura.
Train No. 68080 Chandrapura–Bhojudih MEMU will start from Mahuda on August 1, 2025, instead of its usual origin station.
In another important change, Train No. 11123 Gwalior–Barauni Mail will operate via a diverted route from July 31 to September 24, 2025, owing to infrastructure development at Lucknow station. During this period, the train will run through the Manak Nagar–Aishbagh–Malhour route and will not stop at Lucknow station, but will halt instead at Aishbagh station.
In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, the Eastern Railway has approved new 2-minute halts for the Hate Bazare Express at two stations:
Train No. 13164 Saharsa–Sealdah Hate Bazare Express will halt at Ambika Kalna station from August 6, 2025, arriving at 2:50 AM and departing at 2:52 AM.
Train No. 13170 Saharsa–Sealdah Hate Bazare Express will halt at Salar station from August 7, 2025, arriving at 1:35 AM and departing at 1:37 AM.
