In a vibrant and inspiring ceremony held at the Centre for Excellence, Rotary Jamshedpur Steel City celebrated the Joint Installation of the newly formed Rotaract and Interact Clubs, an event that underscored the spirit of youth leadership, community service, and intergenerational collaboration.
The gathering saw enthusiastic participation from students of SS Gujarati School, Kavyapata International, Akshar International School, Sheyn International and RMS Balichela, all of whom are members of the newly inducted Interact Clubs.

Distinguished Guests and Cultural Performances
The event was graced by Past District Governor (PDG) Rtn. Pratim Banerjee as the chief guest, alongwith club members, school principals and interact moderators.
The ceremony began with a graceful welcome dance by students of Kavyapata Global School, followed by a lively cultural performance by SS Gujarati School, setting a joyous tone for the evening.
Inspiring Proceedings
Rtn. Simran Saggu, Chair of the Young Generation Committee, anchored the proceedings as the Master of Ceremonies. President Rtn. Krishna Kharia formally called the meeting to order, which was followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting—symbolizing knowledge, enlightenment and service.
In his welcome address, President Kharia spoke passionately about the role of youth in community development and lauded the enthusiasm of the new members.

Installation and New Initiatives
The highlight of the evening was the installation of the Interact Club and the induction of new members, presided over by the chief guest.
This was followed by the official installation of the Rotaract Clubs, marking a significant milestone in fostering youth-driven initiatives in the region.
On the occasion, Rtn. Udit Agarwal announced the launch of an Energy Literacy Program for both Interactors and Rotaractors, while Secretary Rtn. Jitesh Chaudhary shared the roadmap for future projects.
The event also honoured the dedicated moderators who have mentored and guided the young members.
Closing with Fellowship
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Rtn. Preeti Kharia, followed by group photographs and an informal fellowship over refreshments, cementing bonds of friendship and shared purpose among participants.
