Jamshedpur: Tata Steel, along with its group companies Tata Steel Technical Services Limited (TSTSL) and Tata Steel Support Services Limited (TSSSL), celebrated National Sports Day and the birth anniversary of Sir Dorabji Tata with a series of spirited sporting activities across locations.

As part of the celebrations, Tata Steel organized a Karate Championship and Community Children Athletics Meet on August 27-28, providing a platform for young talent and reinforcing the Company’s long-standing commitment to promoting sports at the grassroots level.
On National Sports Day (August 29), TSTSL and TSSSL carried the sporting spirit forward by organizing Walkathons at Jamshedpur, West Bokaro, and Kalinganagar. Employees participated with enthusiasm across male and female categories, promoting fitness, wellness, and camaraderie.

At Jamshedpur, the Walkathon was flagged off by Deepak Kamath, CEO, TSSSL, who encouraged employees to embrace sports and physical activity as a way of life.
