JAMSHEDPUR
The district administration of Jamshedpur (East Singhbhum) is aggressively running a special campaign to ensure the mapping of all left-out voters under the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll (SIR)-2026. To accelerate this crucial initiative, Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan flagged off a special awareness chariot from the Collectorate premises today. The primary goal of this drive is to reach every eligible voter and ensure their active participation in the upcoming democratic processes.

Key Officials Present at the Flag-Off
The launch event for the awareness chariot witnessed the presence of several senior administrative figures. Dhalbhum SDM Arnav Mishra, ADC Anurag Tiwari, and Deputy Election Officer Priyanka Singh, along with other district officials, were present to support the cause. The administration is working cohesively at all levels to guarantee that no eligible citizen is left behind during this vital voter mapping phase.
Awareness Chariot to Cover Various Regions
The newly launched awareness chariot will travel extensively across different urban and rural areas of the district. Its main objective is to educate the masses about the significance of the SIR-2026 initiative. Through mobile announcements, the chariot will motivate citizens—whose names are missing or who haven’t completed their mapping—to finalize the process within the stipulated timeframe. This mobile campaign is expected to bridge the information gap, especially in remote and densely populated areas.
Only One Day Remaining: Contact Your BLO Immediately
Addressing the public, Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan highlighted the urgency of the situation, stating that only one day remains before the special campaign concludes. He made a strong appeal to all citizens whose mapping is still pending, urging them to act without any further delay. Voters are strictly advised to visit their respective polling stations or contact their Booth Level Officers (BLOs) immediately to complete the mapping process by June 13.

Strengthening the Roots of Democracy
The district administration emphasized that having an absolutely correct and updated voter roll is the fundamental requirement for a robust and transparent democracy. Every single vote counts, and ensuring accurate voter data is a collective civic responsibility. Authorities have requested all residents of Jamshedpur to seize this final opportunity, complete their SIR mapping on time, and contribute effectively to strengthening the democratic framework of the nation.
