Jamshedpur,: Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) takes immense pride in the outstanding achievement of its eight cadets who represented Team Jharkhand at the Khelo India Tribal Games 2026, held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh from March 26 to April 1. Team Jharkhand secured the Silver Medal in the prestigious tournament.
A total of eight players from Naval Tata Hockey Academy formed a strong backbone of the Jharkhand squad. The players—Navin Kerketta, Dilbar Barla, Daniyal Soy, Simon Bodra, Sem Munda, Bhimsen Kisku, Junul Purty, and Jaymasih Tuti—played a crucial role throughout the tournament, showcasing the academy’s commitment to nurture high-performance athletes.
In the final match against Odisha, Team Jharkhand fought valiantly but finished as runners-up with a scoreline of 4-1. The lone goal for Jharkhand came from Jaymasih Tuti.
The consistent performances of these eight NTHA players across all matches highlighted their technical strength, teamwork, and mental resilience. Their contribution was instrumental in guiding Jharkhand to the finals and ultimately securing the silver medal on a national platform.
