Heated Exchange: Warden Fails to Recognize the Legislator
A bizarre situation unfolded when the MLA arrived at the school around 10:30 AM. Reena Kumari Singh, who has served as the warden for 12 years, failed to recognize MLA Sanjeev Sardar. When the MLA expressed his displeasure and introduced himself, the warden remarked that she still did not recognize him. This led to a heated exchange, with the MLA raising strong objections to the warden’s unprofessional conduct and work style.
Academic Crisis: Missing Teachers and Unanswered Questions
Despite having 22 sanctioned teacher positions, most classrooms were found without instructors during the visit:
Class 12: Students were present, but no teacher was found in the room. When the MLA asked basic general knowledge questions regarding the population of Jharkhand and India, not a single student out of 40 could provide an answer.
Classes 10 & 11: In Class 10, 68 students were sitting without a teacher, and a similar situation was observed in Class 11.
Empty Classrooms: Several other classrooms were found completely vacant, indicating a total collapse of the academic environment.
Health Hazards and Admission Scams
The MLA also inspected the school kitchen, where he found swarms of flies and an accumulation of filth. He slammed the management, stating that food prepared in such unhygienic conditions poses a severe health risk to the students. Furthermore, a parent from Purihasa village alleged that his daughter was denied admission despite being from a BPL (Below Poverty Line) family, while the warden reportedly admitted other students in violation of established rules.
