
Jamshedpur: A spine-chilling incident has surfaced from Quarter No. L-13 located at Agrico Road No. 2 under the Sidgora police station area on Monday, leaving the entire city in a state of shock. Three members of a single family were brutally murdered in their home, creating an atmosphere of panic and terror in the locality.
Preliminary investigations reveal that Ravindra Prasad Singh, a retired employee of Tata Steel, allegedly hacked his wife, pregnant daughter, and son to death with an axe. The accused is reported to be absconding since the incident.
According to police sources, it was the accused, Ravindra Prasad Singh, who himself dialed the police to inform them about the gruesome murders. As the news spread, a massive crowd of locals gathered outside the house. Sidgora police immediately rushed to the spot, cordoned off the entire premises, and initiated a probe.
Upon entering, the police found three blood-soaked bodies lying inside. The deceased have been identified as Sarita Singh (55), Supriya Singh (31), and Ravishek Kumar (30). It has been reported that the deceased daughter, Supriya Singh, was married and expecting a child.
Family Disputes Following Recent Retirement
Initial investigations suggest that a sharp-edged weapon, most likely an axe, was used to commit the heinous crime. According to neighbors and local sources, the accused had recently retired from Tata Steel in February this year. Ever since his retirement, the family had been grappling with frequent domestic disputes.
However, the exact trigger that led the accused to take such an extreme and brutal step is yet to be ascertained. The police are investigating the matter from all possible angles to uncover the actual motive behind the triple homicide.

Forensic Probe Underway, Manhunt Launched
The brutality of the crime has left the entire Agrico neighborhood in deep shock and disbelief. Neighbors stated that the family appeared to live a normal life, and no one could have ever imagined such a horrific outcome.
Sidgora police are continuously interrogating the neighbors and scanning the crime scene for concrete evidence. A forensic team has also been summoned to collect scientific clues from the spot. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and have launched a massive manhunt to nab the absconding accused.
