
Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) celebrated a proud moment as three athletes from TSAF Sport Climbing Academy – Aman, Anisha, and Joga – have been selected for the Asian Games 2026.
The announcement was made during a special event where an MoU was also signed between JCAPCPL and TSAF to further strengthen their partnership in sports development.
The event was attended by D. B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel, as Chief Guest, Kapil Modi, Managing Director, JCAPCPL, as Guest of Honour and Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Chief Sports, Tata Steel. Senior leadership from both the organisations were also present.
Sport Climbing Achievement
The selection of three athletes for the Asian Games 2026 is a major achievement for TSAF.
* Aman and Anisha had earlier represented India in the Asian Games 2022
* With three selections this time, TSAF is showing strong progress at the international level
TSAF Climbing Academy has become one of the top climbing centres in India:
* More than 500 medals won at district, state, national, and international levels
* 5 consecutive National Championship titles
* Hosted 3 international events in Jamshedpur: 2 Asian Kids Championships & 1 Asian Youth Championship
Strong Partnership with JCAPCPL
JCAPCPL has been a key partner in supporting TSAF’s grassroots sports development. This partnership has helped both climbing and rowing grow steadily.
With the new MoU, JCAPCPL will continue to support:
* Athlete development
* Better training facilities
* Grassroots sports programs
* Opportunities for local youth
This collaboration aims to create more champions and bring pride to Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, and India. The event concluded with appreciation for the athletes and a shared commitment to take TSAF’s sports programmes to even greater heights.
