Mr. OP Rawat, who has held various administrative positions for more than 40 years and former collector of Indore, believes that UPSC and other competitive examinations are like a race, in which the faster you run, the farther you go. Everyone is working hard but how disparate you are from others is what makes a difference. This is not a matter of competition; you have to be in the lead to win. Either you have to do something no one else is doing or do the same thing but in a different way. According to him, it is important how much you remember after studying for 16-20 hours.
