
Jamshedpur: Tata Steel organised an Ethics Quiz for Media at Centre For Excellence, Jamshedpur. Over 24 media persons from Jamshedpur participated in the quiz, while several eminent journalists from Jamshedpur came to witness the quiz.


The quiz started with a preliminary round of 30 questions, which the participants had to answer in groups of 2 members in each team. Post the assessment of the preliminary round, four finalists were selected to participate in the final buzzer round. The quiz was designed to test participants’ knowledge of ethics and their ability to apply ethical principles to real-world scenarios.

The team comprising of Parvinder Bhatia (The Pioneer) and Manpreet Singh Bhatia (Avenue Mail) emerged as the winners of the Ethics Quiz 2023. The team comprising of Brajesh Singh and Sanam Kumar Singh of Prabhat Khabar emerged as the runners-up, while the team comprising of Anjani Pandey (Sahara Samay) and Nanak Singh (Sahara Samay) stood third in the quiz. Sarvesh Kumar, Chief Corporate Communications, Tata Steel and Soni, Chief Ethics Counsellor, Tata Steel gave away the prizes to the winners. Amit Kumar Modak, Senior Manager, Corporate Ethics, Tata Steel was the quiz master for this first ever Ethics Quiz organised for Media.
The quiz was part of Tata Steel’s celebration of Ethics Month, which is observed every July across the organization to reinforce its ethical culture.
