
Jamshedpur: Tata Steel marked the 79th Independence Day with a ceremonial celebration, reflecting the spirit of unity, pride, and commitment to the nation.


The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag by D. B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The Security Department of Tata Steel presented a disciplined and impressive march past, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sundara Ramam highlighted the importance of collective effort in nation-building and reaffirmed Tata Steel’s dedication to contributing to India’s growth story. He also extended his greetings to employees, their families, and the community on this momentous day.
Members of the media fraternity were present to capture and witness the celebration. After the ceremony, Mr. Sundara Ramam engaged with the media, responding to their questions, and sharing insights on Tata Steel’s ongoing initiatives and future plans.
