Urgent Repair of Handpumps and Water Towers
To combat the water crisis in both urban and rural areas, the Deputy Commissioner has assigned special responsibilities to the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department as well as local municipal bodies. He has directed that:
All defunct handpumps and water towers in the district must be identified and repaired immediately.
In areas facing an acute water shortage, immediate water supply must be ensured through water tankers.

Photographic Proof Mandatory for Office Heads
To ensure strict compliance with these administrative orders, the Deputy Commissioner has taken a stringent step. All office heads have been directed to immediately ensure adequate drinking water facilities within their office premises and residential buildings. Furthermore, once the arrangements are made, they must submit photographic evidence to the district headquarters as proof of compliance.
The primary objective of this prompt administrative initiative is to ensure that no citizen in the district suffers from dehydration or heat-related health issues during this life-threatening summer season.
