The nomination process for various posts in the Adityapur Small Industries Association (ASIA) concluded on Friday in the presence of election officers S.N. Khandelwal and Sarojkant Jha. Entrepreneurs from the industrial area enthusiastically submitted their nomination papers, setting the stage for a high-stakes election.


Two Candidates for President
The post of President, one of the most prestigious in the association, has two contenders this time: Inder Kumar Agarwal and Santosh Kumar Khetan. Both are prominent industrialists, and their face-off is expected to draw considerable attention from ASIA members.
Direct Contest for General Secretary and Treasurer
The General Secretary post will see a direct contest between Praveen Gutgutia and Santosh Singh.
Similarly, Rajkumar Sanghi and Pradeep Kumar Jain are in the fray for the Treasurer post.
Five Nominees for Trustee
There are five candidates for the lone Trustee position:
R.K. Sinha, S.N. Thakur, Dilip Kumar Goyal, Vimal Kumar Singh, and Rajeev Ranjan Munna. The selection for this post will not involve voting but will be done by the selection committee.
Strong Competition for Vice President and Secretary
For the four Vice President posts, the following have filed nominations:
Rajkumar Sanghi, Sudhir Kumar Singh, Devang Gandhi, Santosh Singh, and Dashrath Upadhyay.
The Secretary post has drawn nominations from Pinkish Maheshwari, Mandeep Singh, Ashok Kumar Gupta, and Divyanshu Sinha.
Overwhelming Response for Executive Member Posts
A total of 22 candidates have submitted nominations for 21 Executive Member positions, showing strong interest. The nominees include:
