The lockdown promulgated by the Government to contain the spread of COVID19 has caused innumerable hardships to the citizens of the country and the needy people of Jamshedpur are also suffering due to the lockdown. In these difficult times, Dr Ajay Kumar, ex-MP of Jamshedpur has arranged for 10 tons of Vitamin rich Ready to use Supplementary Food to be provided to the needy children of Jamshedpur. Though stuck in Delhi due to the lockdown, Dr Ajay Kumar’s thoughts are always with the people of Jamshedpur as always and to help the needy he has taken up this initiative due the crisis. Bearing in mind the deprived especially the malnourished children, Dr Ajay Kumar has arranged for this vitamin rich food. This food will be distributed by Indian Red Cross Society in and around Jamshedpur in the coming days. Due to the efforts of Mr Bijay Kumar Singh, Hony Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur, this vitamin rich food has reached Jamshedpur and Mr Singh has thanked Dr Ajay Kumar profusely for arranging this. Dr Ajay Kumar has also expressed his gratitude to the Indian Red Cross Society for agreeing to assist in providing this food to the needy. The Indian Red Cross Society will start distribution of this food in and around Jamshedpur in the next couple of days and expects that the Ready to Use Supplementary Food will help in enhancing the immunity levels of the children.
