Doctors of Kharagpur Divisional Railway Hospital, South Eastern Railway attended a station call today at 12.25 p.m from Kharagpur station. As per the information given by Station Manager, Kharagpur a four and half years child was having repeated and continuous convulsions since last one hour inside Howrah-Yesvantpur Duronto Express.

When attended at station, inside the coach, the child aged 4.5 years was having repeated convulsions with blood and frothy discharge from mouth with a grunting sound.

The child and parents were detrained and brought to Casualty of Divisional Railway Hospital/Kharagpur for treatment. Midnapore Medical College doctors were also consulted. They responded immediately and advised certain medications and injections.

Thus, a life was saved. Now the patient is stable. Parents of the child have expressed satisfaction about the treatment provided at Divisional Railway Hospital/Kharagpur.
