The 25th CISCE Regional Swimming Championship 2024, organised by Loyola School, began with a splash at JRD Sports Complex on 10th August. The event brought together 18 schools (Bihar and Jharkhand) affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. Mrs. Priti Sinha,
Principal, Gulmohur High School, and ASISC Zonal Co-ordinator, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
A soulful prayer marked the commencement of events for the day following which Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal, Loyola School, felicitated the Chief Guest. The CISCE flag was unfurled, thus declaring the Meet open. The oath of sportsmanship was taken by all the participants.
The competitors displayed their electrifying and thrilling performances and commendable sportsmanship. They competed in events across three categories- Sub Junior, Junior and Senior, each for boys and girls. The overall Championship was bagged by Carmel Junior College. As the event came to an end, the CISCE flag was lowered. Fr. Principal expressed his gratitude to all the dignitaries and officials for making this event a
successful one.
