
Jamshedpur: In a tragic incident that highlights the perils of speeding, a 26-year-old woman lost her life, and a youth was critically injured in a severe bike accident late Sunday night in Jamshedpur. The fatal crash took place near the CH Area Army Camp under the jurisdiction of the Bistupur police station. The deceased has been identified as Angel Gudiya, originally from Odisha, who was residing in Jamshedpur and working at a beauty parlor in the Mango area.

Late-Night Joyride Turns Fatal
According to police sources, the incident occurred at around 1:00 AM. Angel Gudiya and Kelvin Lakra, a resident of Birsanagar, were out for a late-night ride on their motorcycle. As they reached the stretch near the CH Area Army Camp, the speeding two-wheeler suddenly lost control and rammed violently into the roadside divider. The impact of the collision was so severe that both riders were thrown off the bike, sustaining critical injuries on the spot.

Police Patrol Rushes Victims to TMH
Fortunately, a police patrol vehicle passing through the area spotted the profusely bleeding victims lying on the road. The police personnel acted swiftly and rushed both of them to the Tata Main Hospital (TMH). Upon arrival, doctors declared Angel Gudiya brought dead. Meanwhile, Kelvin Lakra remains in critical condition and is undergoing intensive treatment.
The Bistupur police have seized the mangled motorcycle and officially informed the family members of the deceased. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances that led to the fatal crash.
