
Jamshedpur, The three-day techno-cultural fest Provenance 5.0, organized at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, concluded successfully. The closing session of the fest was celebrated as Celebrity Night. The Chief Guest for the evening was Mr. Ram Das Soren, Minister of School Education, Literacy, and Registration Department, Government of Jharkhand. Praising the college’s infrastructure and academic environment, Mr. Soren said that the institution has carved out a unique identity in the field of engineering and professional education. He added that it is a matter of pride for the state that graduates from this institution are serving in top positions in multinational companies. He emphasized that equal attention is given to academic, co-curricular, and non-academic skill development at the college, enabling the holistic development of students. He assured full support for the institution’s progress at both personal and government levels, stating, “I will extend all possible assistance to this college so that the tribal-dominated state of Jharkhand can progress at an even faster pace.” Mr. Binda Singh, President of RVS Educational Trust, and Mr. Bharat Singh, Secretary, welcomed the chief guest with a shawl and memento. The Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh, Governing Body Member Mr. Shakti Singh, and Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari were also present to welcome the guests. As part of the final session, renowned Bollywood playback singer Mohammad Irfan, who came from Mumbai, performed live. His performance brought a wave of excitement among students and all attendees from the very beginning. Starting with the soulful track “Dil Ki Sifaarish”, he went on to sing other popular songs like “Tu Dua Hai” and “Phir Mohabbat”, captivating the audience who sang and danced along. Mohammad Irfan was also felicitated with a shawl and memento by the Secretary and other dignitaries. At the conclusion of Provenance 5.0, the fest’s coordinator Dr. Sushant Mahanti delivered the vote of thanks.
