Jamshedpur: President Droupadi Murmu once again won hearts during her visit to Jamshedpur, displaying warmth and affection toward the people of the city. After attending official engagements, the President briefly stepped away from protocol to interact with citizens waiting outside and distributed chocolates among children, drawing widespread appreciation for her simplicity.
Visit to Kadma and Baridih
Earlier in the day, the President participated in the land pujan ceremony for the construction of Shri Jagannath Temple in Kadma. She later attended a program at Manipal Tata Medical College in Baridih. The event witnessed the presence of dignitaries, officials, and members of the academic community.
Warm Interaction with the Public
As the President’s convoy exited the college premises, a large crowd had gathered along the roadside to catch a glimpse of her. In a heartwarming gesture, the President’s vehicle halted, and she stepped out to greet the people personally. She shook hands with several citizens and distributed chocolates among children, who were visibly excited to meet the Head of State.
The crowd responded enthusiastically, raising slogans of “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” The brief but meaningful interaction created an atmosphere of joy and pride among those present.
