Jamshedpur Women’s University ink pacts with RVS College of Engineering & Technology Jamshedpur to explore possibilities in terms of research projects, jointly conducting seminars, conferences and training programmes, joint publications for the mutual benefit of girl students and faculty exchange programme. This MoU is for technology, research and evaluation programmes, PG and Ph.D. students. It will also facilitate exchange of information and co-supervision. Girl students can take advantage of conducting counseling combined with the dissemination of studies.

According to the Vice-Chancellor Prof.(Dr.) Anjila Gupta, this MoU is an important step for mutual cooperation in the field of research and development in science and technology. She believes that this will have a positive impact on the students of both the institutions, the faculty, and the society at large. Within a short span of time, the Vice Chancellor, due to his dynamic vision and foresight, has tried her best to equip the girl students and faculty of the University with a variety of resources through various MoUs. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor said that this MoU will also enrich the cultural and intellectual field of students and teachers of both the institutes with facilities for lectures, shared laboratory, library etc. and faculty exchange.
The main objective is to develop technology skills for girl students as per NEP-2020
The main objective of this agreement is to provide detailed information regarding technology to girl students and develop skills in this field, which is required for the future generations also given by NEP-2020. The MoU was also required to jointly organize skill training through online/offline mode while making research and teaching interesting and for joint events for students of each other’s faculty to participate in it. This will provide opportunities for jointly organizing seminars, conferences or workshops. Proposals have also been made for research and sponsored training programs by both government and private agencies. students will get cooperation in business incubation and design project. The MoU will facilitate exchange of information on technology research and evaluation program for monitoring of PG and PhD girl students.
A boon for the tribal girl students of the area
During the last few days the University is leaving no stone unturned to expose the future technology needs and sharing of expertise to the faculty and students benefiting from the resources of other prestigious institutions. This step of this premier institute will certainly benefit the educational community of Jamshedpur. Apart from the girl students of Jamshedpur, girl students belonging to remote tribal areas of Singhbhum will also be benefitted by this agreement. It will be a boon especially for the tribal girl students of the region.
