Kolhan Commissioner Raviranajan Kumar Vikram conducted an inspection of MGM Hospital located in Dimna and reviewed the overall healthcare services. He also held a detailed meeting with the hospital management and issued important instructions for improvement.
Review of Medical Facilities
During the inspection, the Commissioner examined patient care services, treatment systems, and cleanliness within the hospital premises. He reviewed OPD registration processes, doctors’ availability as per roster, and overall service delivery.
Interaction with Patients
To understand the ground reality, the Commissioner interacted directly with patients and their attendants. Based on their feedback, he directed the hospital administration to further improve facilities and ensure better patient satisfaction.
Detailed Review Meeting
A comprehensive review meeting was held under his chairmanship with hospital officials. He emphasized improving the quality of healthcare services and instructed that all pending works be completed at the earliest.
Focus on Oxygen Supply and ICU
The Commissioner directed officials to make Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) and PSA plants fully operational by March 31 to ensure uninterrupted oxygen supply through pipelines. He also stressed that all ICU units should be fully functional.
Ambulance and Certification Services
Instructions were given to repair all non-functional ambulances and make them operational. He also emphasized timely disposal of pending birth and death certificate cases.

Medicines and Health Schemes
The administration was directed to ensure regular availability of medicines, strengthen OPD services, and maintain the presence of senior doctors. He also instructed to operationalize Amrit Pharmacy and Jan Aushadhi centers by April and effectively implement the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
Drinking Water and Sanitation
To address the drinking water issue, coordination was directed with Mango Municipal Corporation, with a deadline of April 20 for resolution. He also instructed proper biomedical waste disposal and improvement in pathological services.

The inspection was attended by Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, District Transport Officer Dhananjay, Superintendent Dr. Balram Jha, Dr. Jujhar Majhi and other officials.
