The team was led by Anant Rana, Manager at TSAF, who previously summited Twin Peak in 2022 as a participant and later did his Basic Mountaineering Course from Himalayan Institute of Darjeeling. Anant, recently completed his Full Ironman race in New Zealand, played a crucial role throughout the expedition. His experience and engaging storytelling greatly inspired and motivated the team during the trek.

The group trekked to a maximum altitude of 17,598 ft, with all 10 participants successfully reaching Everest Base Camp (17,598 ft).

The team followed a path along the Dudh Koshi river to Namche Bazaar, a village known for its tough Sherpa people. Along the way, they had plenty of time to learn about the Sherpa culture in beautiful villages like Tengboche.Despite facing sub-zero temperatures (as low as –25°C), heavy winds, snowfall, long daily walking hours, and significant altitude gain, all participants demonstrated exceptional grit and resilience, successfully reaching Everest Base Camp (17,598 ft).

Participant Reflection:

Kunal Sarangi: A once-in-a-lifetime trek through the breathtaking Himalayan landscape, filled with awe and challenge. Reaching Everest Base Camp was a moment of deep pride and gratitude. The energy of the group and the wisdom shared made the journey truly special. Thank you, TSAF, for making this dream come true with your expert guidance and unwavering support.

Ananya Lepii: Unforgettable Everest Base Camp trek, a long-time dream realized with TSAF’s support and meticulous planning. Found the experience both challenging and rewarding, highlighting moments of personal endurance and accomplishment. I am expressed my gratitude to Anant for his leadership, which helped navigate tough moments and ensured a hassle-free adventure. Looking forward to more amazing journeys in the future!
