The annual get-together of the Jharkhand Telugu Brahmin Samajam was held on Sunday at the A.D.L. Society premises in Kadma, Jamshedpur, in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere.
Organized by the Jharkhand Telugu Brahmin Sangham, the event witnessed active participation from nearly 400 families from Jamshedpur and nearby areas.
The program was presided over by the Sangham’s President, Shri N. V. R. Murthy, who welcomed and greeted all the members in his presidential address. Founder General Secretary Shri G. Gopal Krishna expressed happiness over the large turnout and emphasized unity and mutual cooperation within the community.
The chief guest of the event was senior member of the Telugu Brahmin community and social worker Smt. D. B. Shailaja (wife of Vice-President(Corporate Services) Tata Steel Shri D. B. Sundara Ramam). She appreciated the Sangham’s efforts for the welfare of the community and assured her full support in the future.
During the get-together, various games, antakshari, and cultural programs such as music, dance, and singing were organized for people of all age groups, in which members participated enthusiastically. The events were successfully conducted by the Sangham’s young members, including T. Kavitha, K. Srinivas, and others.

Several stalls set up to promote women entrepreneurship were also a major attraction. Stalls selling garments, artificial jewellery, gift items, and other products saw a good response and received strong support from the attendees.
The main objective of the get-together was to strengthen mutual bonding among community members, promote the Telugu language and culture, collectively address community-related issues and challenges, and familiarize the younger generation with their cultural heritage.
Among those present at the event were trustees Shri N. Rajesh and Shri G. S. R. Murthy; President Shri N. V. R. Murthy; Vice Presidents Smt. G. Vijay Lakshmi, Shri B. Srinivas, Major K. Satyanarayana, and Shri Jammi Bhaskar; Vice President (Legal Advisor) Shri M. B. Subrahmanyam; General Secretary Shri G. Gopal Krishna; Assistant Secretary Shri S. Durga Prasad; Treasurer Shri Y. K. Sharma; Assistant Treasurer Shri K. Srinivas; along with Dr. G. V. Rahul Chandra, Smt. T. Kavitha, Smt. Ch. Madhuri, Smt. Sangeeta, Shri Y. Ram Murthy, Smt. K. Mani, Smt. Anshu Malini, Smt. G. Mohini, and many other members.
