Jamshedpur:
In a major boost to regional connectivity, the Ministry of Railways has approved a new weekly train between Godda (Jharkhand) and Daurai (Rajasthan). The newly sanctioned train will significantly improve rail links between Jharkhand, North India, and Western India, especially benefiting passengers from the Santhal Pargana region.
Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey took the lead in pushing for the new train service. Sharing the development on social media, he extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for the approval. He emphasized that this new route will act as a milestone in connecting Jharkhand’s remote districts to India’s national rail grid.
The launch of this train is expected to not only ease passenger movement but also promote economic and cultural integration across regions.
