Jamshedpur: Tata Steel has been honoured with the National Award for Excellence in CSR and Sustainability in the Best Environmental Responsibility Initiatives category for its commitment to environmental responsibility, circularity and sustainability initiatives. The award was presented at a ceremony organised by the World HRD Congress in Bengaluru recently.
The winners were selected by a jury, which evaluated nominations based on their respective achievements and contributions towards a sustainable society.
The recognition reflects Tata Steel’s continued efforts towards responsible utilisation of industrial by-products, driven in part through the initiatives of its Industrial By-Products Management Division ( IBMD), contributing to the Company’s broader sustainability journey.
Through its focus on resource efficiency and circularity, Tata Steel continues to pursue practices that support the productive use of industrial by-products and responsible resource management.
