21 artisans from 3 states, representing 4 different tribes participated in the Haat

Jamshedpur: The fifth edition of Johar Haat, organised by Tata Steel Foundation, held from May 14 to 20, 2023 at Prakriti Vihar in Kadma will conclude tomorrow. This month’s Johar Haat hosted 21 artisans from Jharkhand, West Bengal and Assam representing 4 different tribal groups namely Sabar, Santhal, Munda and Bodo.

johar Haat was conceptualised to create a dedicated space for exhibiting the art, craft, cuisine, and culture of tribes across India through a week-long exhibition every month. This edition of the Haat is hosting 8 different stalls put up by various organisations and social entrepreneurs from 3 states across India. The theme for this edition’s haat is Summer Weaves.
