JAMSHEDPUR NEWS :The 129th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was celebrated at RVS College of Engineering

On January 23, 2025, with a grand event. The program was organized by the NSS wing of the college in collaboration with the National Digital Library (NDLI) Club. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and offering of floral tributes, by The Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Dr. Sudhir Jha, Dean Academy, Dean Administration and other dignitaries along with online connected Chief guest Mr. Arunabh Sengupta. The highlight of the event was the inspirational speech delivered by Mr. Arunabh Sengupta on the life and legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Mr. Sengupta, an executive member of Akhil Bharat Vivekanand Yuva Mahamandal, former AGM (Production and Planning) at DC Industrial Plant Services Private Limited, and former assistant editor of the bilingual monthly magazine Vivek-Jeevan, shared his thoughts on Netaji’s life. He highlighted the profound influence of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings on Netaji, explaining how the literature and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda shaped Netaji’s ideology and ignited his passion for the country’s independence. This intellectual transformation inspired Netaji to dedicate his life to the service of the nation, leaving an indelible legacy for today’s youth. In this event 166 students was registered in the NDLI Club and take participated. The event was organized under the guidance of the Chief Program Officer Dr. D. K. Haldar, with the support of program officers Dr. Rahidas Kumar, Prof. Rahul Ranjan, Prof. Kunal Sarkar, and Prof. Moni Mandal. Their collective efforts ensured the success of this dedication program.  The celebration conveyed a profound message of Netaji’s enduring spirit and his devotion to the nation, motivating students to continue his mission and remain selflessly dedicated to the progress of the country. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sudhir Jha.
