Jamshedpur,: Reinforcing its commitment to employee well-being and inclusive workplace practices, Tata Steel Tinplate Division has renovated crèche facility.

The upgraded facility was inaugurated in the presence of Moitrayee Chakraborty, along with senior leadership of Tata Steel including Jaya Singh Panda, Chief Learning & Development and Chief Diversity Officer; Dr. Sourajyoti Dey, Chief Tinplate; and Rakeshwar Pandey, President, Tata Tinplate Workers Union.
The crèche has been thoughtfully redesigned to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Key features of the upgraded facility include enhanced safety measures with child-proofed play zones, CCTV-enabled surveillance for added security, a dedicated nursing area, and well-defined activity spaces to support early childhood development. The facility is staffed with trained caregivers to ensure personalized attention and care for each child. The crèche will operate from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
