XLRI Jamshedpur। MAXI Fair is almost upon us! With just a few more days of wait for the eager Jamshedpur townsfolk, the students of XLRI have put together an exciting set of events and performances for the 39th year running on 13th January 2018. The gamut of contests and competitions now extends all the way from kids to their parents to their grandparents as well. No stone has been left unturned to make this a fun-filled family affair.

With crowd-favourite events such as Ms. Jamshedpur, Art Attack and Dance Mania all set to return, many new contests have also been added for the enjoyment of the Fair-goers. Some of these events are Jamshedpur’s Favourite Family – the quest for the most in-sync family of the town, as the family that plays together, stays together; Healthy Jamshedpur Happy Jamshedpur – a bid to make the town fitter and better with Yoga sessions and health talks; and several such offerings.
The central attraction of the Fair, however, is Shailesh Lodha, the actor-poet-comic who plays the titular character in much-beloved TV show Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma, who is coming to Jamshedpur to tickle your funny bones on Sunday evening, 14th January, during the Fair. Other performances for the enjoyment of the visitors include a production play being presented by XLRI’s Drama Society and a musical performance by the band Bodhi Tree on Saturday during the Cultural Evening. And of course, there are the usual fair attractions like food court, gaming zone, dog show, magicians and tarot card readers to give you a complete ‘mela’ vibe to the event.
So in the entire spectrum on offer, do visit the MAXI Fair for whatever appeals the most to you and your family. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of the experience that has spanned across 38 years of Jamshedpur and continues to remain a beloved weekend for you to get together with your friends and family to have some well-deserved fun!
