The Haj Committee of India, operating under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, has officially launched the application process for Haj 2026, offering a significant spiritual opportunity for Indian Muslims planning to embark on the sacred pilgrimage.
According to the committee, online applications for Haj 2026 will be accepted from July 7 to July 31, 2025, up to 11:59 PM.
Pilgrims can apply through the official website www.hajcommittee.gov.in or via the “Haj Suvidha” mobile app, which is available on both iOS and Android platforms.
Passport Requirement
Applicants must possess a machine-readable Indian international passport issued on or before the last date of application, with validity until at least December 31, 2026. The Haj Committee has emphasized that applicants must thoroughly read and agree to the official guidelines and declaration form before submitting their application.

Advisory on Cancellations
The committee also issued a cautionary note to prospective pilgrims: any cancellation, except in cases of death or serious medical emergency, may lead to financial losses. Therefore, applicants are urged to evaluate their preparations carefully before applying.
