Adityapur. The growing anger among the residents of the Adityapur Municipal Corporation area over the severe drinking water crisis has finally spilled onto the streets. A massive one-day ‘Maha Dharna’ (protest) was peacefully organized at Akashwani Chowk, near Patel Chowk, under the joint banner of Jan Kalyan Morcha and the Adityapur Advocate Association.

The protest was chaired by Advocate Om Prakash, President of Jan Kalyan Morcha and Chief Patron of the Adityapur Advocate Association. The event was conducted by Patron S.K. Sawai, while the vote of thanks was delivered by D.N. Ojha, President of the Advocate Association. Hundreds of youth, women, senior citizens, and several ward councilors actively participated in the demonstration.
