606TH FREE EYE CURE CAMP BY RED CROSS SOCIETY CONCLUDED

Jamshedpur;

The 606^th free EyeCure Camp being organized by the East Singhbhum Chapter of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), in association with Ram Manohar LohiaSevaSansthan, district rural health committee, ChimanlalBhalotiaSevaSansthan and Rajasthan SevaSansthanconcluded todayat Ram Manohar Netralaya, Bagbera.

This free eye camp has been sponsored by SmtGayatri Devi in memory of Sri Madanlalji Agarwal.  While this three day residential camp has commenced on 27^th March afternoon with screening and registration of patients, eminent eye doctor of Jamshedpur, Dr B P Singh along with his team of eye surgeons, Dr Poonam Singh, DrBharati Sharma, DrAnandSushrut and DrVivekKediahave conductedCataract surgeryon 15 patients on 28^th instant.

All the operated patients have been discharged today after removal of bandages by the doctors and follow up check-up.  They have been provided with requisite medication and dark glasses.  At the time of discharge of patients, family members of the sponsors along with MrBijay Kumar Singh, Hony Secretary, IRCS and MrBalmukundGoel, President, Ram Manohar LohiaSevaSansthan.Members and volunteers assisted in successfully organizing the camp and all requisite COVID19 guidelines have been followed while conducting the camp.
