Jamshedpur FC players Mobashir Rahman and Samir Murmu flag off Runatgom at Adityapur

Jamshedpur, October 1: Jamshedpur FC players Mobashir Rahman and Samir Murmu along with International Handball coach and Manager of Health & Wellness at Tata Steel Sports, Hasan Imam Mallick flagged off the Run-for-Swachhatta Runathon event on Tuesdsay at Adityapur.

The programme was organised by Adityapur Municipal Corporation to promote awareness of cleanliness and in connection with Gandhi Jayanti and the Runathon was flagged off from S-Type Chowk Adityapur.

Around 200 participants joined the running event to spread the message of cleanliness and community hygiene. At the event both JFC players stressed on the importance of having a healthy lifestyle along with cleanliness in our everyday life.

“This run symbolizes our collective responsibility toward a cleaner environment. The response we received from the community today strengthens our commitment to the Swachh Bharat mission,” said Samir Murmu.

Jamshedpur FC has been supporting various activities in and around the city as part of its community engagement efforts to connect with fans. “We are happy to be with the local people and understand the community. We are one of them and it is essential we take part in these community development programmes to understand the city and help the community to grow more,” said Mobashir Rahman regarding the programme.

Jamshedpur FC play East Bengal FC at JRD Tata Sports Complex on October 5 in their next match.
