Tata Steel’s Winter Sports Camp Unveils a Season of Fun, Fitness, and Community in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Over 600 eager participants and a festive ambience filled the JRD Tata Sports Complex today as Tata Steel inaugurated the first-ever Winter Sports Camp 2023.

The event kicked off with a vibrant “Christmas Wonderland” for the Jamshedpur community, followed by an opening ceremony brimming with Yoga, dance, music, and Zumba performances.

Gracing the occasion was Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel and Poonam Chaudhary.

Chanakya Chaudhary lauded the initiative’s inclusivity and expressed his vision for it to become an annual tradition.

From December 24 to 31, the camp will be a haven for young athletes aged 6-18 years. With a diverse range of activities like swimming, horse riding, badminton, athletics, and more, the camp ensures accessibility for all, regardless of background or ability. This fosters a love for sports and builds bridges within the community.
