Tata Steel constructs public toilet on National Highway 33

Jamshedpur। Tata Steel, as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, has undertaken the construction of public toilet blocks at strategic locations on the National Highway 33 connecting Ranchi and Tatanagar. As part of the mission, today a toilet was inaugurated by Shri Amar Kumar Bauri, Hon’ble Minister, Revenue Registration & Land Reforms, Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Jharkhand at the Panchavati Dhaba. Shri Kamleshwar Yadav (owner, Panchvati Dhaba) Shri Ritu Raj Sinha, Chief Corporate Services, Shri Shailesh Verma, Chief Resident Executive Ranchi, Shri S. N. Nandi, Head Water & Civil Infrastructure and Shri Rajiv Kumar, Head Infrastructure Projects and other senior officials from Tata Steel were also present on the occasion

 

The toilet block will provide better sanitation facility with hygiene & cleanliness to the tourists and travellers. The dhaba owner has provided land for construction of the toilet, Tata Steel has constructed the toilet block for gents & ladies unit and also has supported by developing landscape, lighting and concrete pathways for proper access & improved visibility of people to the toilet during night hours. The toilet owner has agreed to do the regular maintenance of the toilet and maintenance of infrastructure as well at their own cost.
