The new LHB rake for Bangriposi-Puri Special was flagged off in a ceremonial function at Bangriposi today (28.04.2025) by esteemed dignitaries including Smt Mamata Mohanta, Hon’ble MP (Rajya sabha), Shri Naba Charan Majhi, Hon’ble MP (Lok Sabha), Mayurbhanj, Ms. Sanjali Murmu, Hon’ble MLA, Bangriposi & Shri Bhadav Hansdah, Hon’ble MLA, Saraskana. Senior officers from South Eastern Railway were also present, contributing to the event’s success.
The introduction of LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) rake is expected to provide the passengers with a more comfortable and safe travel experience, which highlights the commitment of Indian Railways to improve Rail infrastructure and services in the region.
The regular run of converted LHB rake for 12891/12892 Bangriposi-Puri-Bangriposi Intercity Express will commence from Bangriposi w.e.f. 30.04.2025 and from Puri w.e.f. 29.04.2025
