A high-level meeting was held on Wednesday at the Adityapur Auto Cluster auditorium under the leadership of Superintendent of Police (SP) Mukesh Kumar Lunayat to discuss law and order, smooth traffic flow, crime control, and industrial safety in the Adityapur industrial region.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders from industrial groups and business associations. The primary objective was to strengthen public safety, effective policing, and coordinated traffic management across this crucial economic zone.
SP Mukesh Kumar emphasized the need for enhanced surveillance, particularly the installation of CCTV cameras at strategic and vulnerable points in the industrial area. He highlighted how technology could assist in timely monitoring and crime prevention. SP Lunayat noted that with increased industrial activities, ensuring safety and order is a top priority for both the police and the industry stakeholders.
He directed that better coordination between industrial security teams and local police stations be established to ensure quick response during emergencies. Additionally, he encouraged business owners to maintain regular communication with law enforcement for a safer environment.
Key industry representatives who attended the meeting included Inder Agrawal (President, Adityapur Small Industries Association – ASIA), Praveen Gutgutia (General Secretary), Swapna Majumdar, and Divyanshu Sinha. From the police administration, SDPO Sameer Sawaiya, Adityapur police station in-charge Vinod Kumar Tirkey, and officers from Gamharia, RIT, Kandra, and Traffic Police were also present.
The industry leaders welcomed the steps being taken by the police department and pledged their full cooperation in reinforcing law and order. They agreed that in light of expanding industrial operations, ensuring worker safety and efficient traffic control is essential.
SP Lunayat concluded the meeting by stating that maintaining public safety and industrial peace is a shared responsibility. He assured continued police support and expressed hope that regular dialogue between the police and the business community would strengthen mutual trust and security.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with commitments from all sides to work collaboratively toward a safer and more efficient industrial environment in Adityapur.
