
Jamshedpur : In a remarkable showcase of service and community engagement, Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel Cirt (Rotary District 3250), under the leadership of District Governor (DG) 2024-25 Rtn Bipin Chachan and First Lady Rtn Shilpi Chachan, inaugurated three major humanitarian projects in different parts of Jamshedpur on Friday.


The day began with the inauguration of a Drinking Water Station Project at the CJM Court Premises in Sakchi this morning.
The programme was attended by CJM Vishal Gaurav, Principal District and Sessions Judge Arvind Kumar Pandey, the service club president Shivani Goel and several other senior club members.
This initiative that included inauguration of a water station aims to provide safe and accessible drinking water to court visitors and staff, reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to public welfare and basic sanitation.
This was followed by the launch of the Rotary Steel City Navjat ICU Project, a Global Grant Project inaugurated at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital at South Park in Bistupur.
The project marks a significant step in neonatal care in the city. The agenda included a warm welcome by Soumya, a project brief by President Rtn Shivani Goel, felicitation of donors, a speech by DG Rtn Bipin Chachan, and a vote of thanks delivered by Secretary Rtn Priyanka Singh.
The ICU project – a 7-bed NICU- entailed an investment of around Rs 60 lakh and the primary sponsor was Keshavji Chhaganlal Jewellers.
The club donated a neo- natal ventilator, an incubator, a Bubble CPAP, a Neopuff, a Neonatal Multipara Monitor, an ECG machine, a mobile X- Ray and a Photo Therapy Unit, to the hospital.
The final event of the day unfolded at the Rajasthan Seva Sadan Hospital in Jugsalai, with the inauguration of the Rotary Steel City Beacon of Hope Health Project.
DG Rtn Bipin Chachan and IPDG 2023-24 Rtn S.P. Bagaria jointly inaugurated the project.
The ceremony featured a welcome by the RSSH Committee, a project briefing by Rtn Dilip Goyal, and concluding remarks by Rtn Deepak Dokania.
A Rotary Wheel and a Clock Tower was also inaugurated on the occasion.
The Global Grant Project worth around Rs 80 lakh included four dialysis machines, four patients monitor, four fowler beds, an ETP Machine, ICU beds, an Autoclave Machine and a RO Plant.
These back-to-back inaugurations underscore Rotary’s unwavering dedication to healthcare, clean water, and humanitarian services.
District Governor Rtn Bipin Chachan expressed heartfelt thanks to the club members for their unwavering dedication and service.
In his address, he appreciated the collective efforts that have strengthened Rotary’s mission and impact over the past year.
He encouraged members to carry forward the spirit of service with renewed enthusiasm and collaboration.
