Jamshedpur Women’s University Jamshedpur organises workshop on Fundamentals of Drone Technology and its Applications

Jamshedpur Women’s University Jamshedpur in association with Aviakul Unmanned Systems LLP, New Delhi organised a one day awareness workshop on 23rd August 2023 at Kalakrriti Auditorium oc DBMS School Jamshedpur under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anjila Gupta. The inaugral session commenced with Lightening of lamp by the dignitaries accompanied by Saraswati Vandana by Dr. Sanatan Deep Head Music Department and students of Music Department. The chief guest Sri Prabhat Kumar Sr. Superintendent of Police Jamshedpur was welcomed by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anjila Gupta. All the dignitaries in the dias were welcomed with token of Memento and sapling. Dr Sonali Singh, Co ordinator of the workshop presented the welcome address. Keynote speaker Shri Shreyas Bhargava and Vaibhav Varun enlightened on fundamentals of Drone Technology. Chief Guest of the inaugural Session Sri Prabhat Kumar (IPS)Sr. Superintendent of Police, Jamshedpur threw light on the necessity of workshop. He emphasised on how to break the conditioning of mind and put efforts to achieve our goals. He again reiterated that struggle is the key to success and adviced to take full advantage of the available resources within their reach in the form of Teachers, Libraries etc. According to him priorities are to be prioritized at the time of student life. He also said that dream should be congruous and in coherence with one’s strength and weakness. His inspiring speech emphasised on becoming good human being with a possession of sensitivity for others including other creatures also. SSP Prabhat Kumar finally gave a test fly to the drone in the auditorium. Presidential address by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anjila Gupta dealt with the necessity of dissemination of information in this era of information revolution. She opined to explore possibilities to have an MOU with Aviakul to launch a certificate course in Drone technology for the benefit of the students. Vote of thanks was rendered by Dr Sudhir Kumar Sahu Proctor and Dean of Humanities. This session was witnessed by Dr Kiswar Ara,Dean Student Welfare, Dr . Jawed Ahmad, Finance Officer and Dean of Commerce, Dr. Rama Subramaniam, Controller of Examination, Dr. Annapurna Jha, CVC, Dr. Sanatan Deep, Sports and Cultural Director, Dr. Salomy Kujur, Developmental Officer, Dr Deepa Sharan, Dean Commerce, all Head of the departments and all faculty members, non teaching staffs. The programme was compered by Dr Nupur Anwita Minz of Hindi Department.
