Jamshedpur।
The students of Loyola School had a memorable Children’s Day as they enjoyed themselves in a wide range of activities.
The junior school students had a short but sweet entertainment programme put up by the teachers.
The students came in their casuals. This day was dedicated to our children to celebrate their amazing journey of childhood and cherish the smiles that light up our world.
The programme started by invoking God’s blessings. The Rector, Fr. K.M. Joseph said a prayer seeking the presence of the Almighty. Fr. Rector, Fr. Principal, Vice Principal Senior Section, Vice Principal Junior Section and Headmaster Hindi School paid tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by garlanding his picture.
Fr. Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes addressed the students and shared his views about the importance of Children’s Day. This was followed by recreation of a mystical world whereby Vice Principal Junior Section Mrs. Vineeta F. Ekka made Chacha Nehru appear on the stage by using her magical wand. Children enjoyed watching heart to heart conversation with their favourite Chacha Nehru. To add on the entertainment element, a few advertisements, dances and songs were put up, where the teachers were dressed up as students and little children.
The children were mesmerized by the programme put up by their teachers.
The Vote of thanks was given by the Vice Principal Junior Section. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and went back home happily.
The senior school students went on their annual class picnic. They went to various resorts in and around the city, like Wave International, Hal View, Tenth Milestone, Golden Leaf, Imperial Resort, Mukta Dhara Nature Resort, Ghatsila. They had a memorable time with their friends and teachers with fun and frolic, music and dance and eating to their heart’s content.
