Over a decade after performing “Pran Prathistha” (Consecration) of Sri Sai Centre in Circuit House area here, Guruji Chandra Bhanu Satpathyji will be visiting the steel city on Tuesday (Jan 20) to take part in a divine spiritual evening at the centre, a top functionary of the centre on Sunday said.
During his brief visit, Guruji Satpathi ji will arrive at Sri Sai Centre at 6 PM and perform puja followed by dance recital and bhajan sandhya, said the President of Sri Sai Centre S K Behera.
Behera, who is the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of RSB group, said Guru Satpathyji has participated in the consecration ceremony of over 200 Shirdi Sai temples across the country including Jamshedpur (138th) on 28th October, 2012.
Guru Satpathyji’s visit will be a great moment of pride for Sai devotees, he said.
The top functionaries of the centre will receive Guru Satpathyji, a former IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh, at Ranchi and bring him here by road.
Guru Satpathyji had retired from police service in 2008 as Director General of Police.
Guru Satpathyji is a revered spiritual master deeply connected with Shirdi Sai Baba and spread Baba’s messages of Shradha and Saburi, emphasizing purity, humility, self-discipline and selfless service, Behera said.
His simple, practical teachings inspire inner transformation, moral living and surrender to the divine will, Behera, a former Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry, Easter India Chapter, said.
Guru Satpathyji has been honored with various awards including Shri Govind Narayan Samman (2012) and recognition by Srimati Pratibha Patil for Shri Guru Bhagwat (2012), Baba Baidyanath Sangeeta Ratna (2011).
Highlighting the, activities being carried out by the centre, the Secretary Amresh Sinha said the management of the centre ensures puja and aarti of baba be performed daily, perform Satyanarayan katha, Akhand parayan, celebrate Vijaya dashmi, Ram Navami, Guru Purnima etc, when devotees in large number turn up to pay their obeisance to Shirdi Sai baba.
Besides, the centre also have free medical clinic, organize anna daan and food distribution at pre-identified places.
Sinha said Centre has plan to start “langar” soon.
Initially, we will start langar for under-privilege section of the society once a week and proceed accordingly depending on the response, Sinha added.
Behera said a good amount of donation from devotees have been collected and the amount will be utilized for the purpose in a sustainable manner.
