
Kolkata,: Jamshedpur FC defender Stephen Eze and midfielder Mohammed Sanan have underlined the team’s determination ahead of their crucial clash against Mohammedan SC at the VYBK Stadium in Kolkata on February 20. With the Men of Steel aiming to close the gap at the top of the table, both players stressed the importance of collective effort and focus.
Eze, returning from injury, expressed confidence in his fitness and the team’s approach. “After the injury setback, physically, I am getting much better than before. Now, I’m focusing on how to help my team gain a spot in the playoffs,” he said. Reflecting on their previous encounter, he added, “Same approach as last time we played against them. My aim is to help the team get a result in the game, and together with my teammates, we will do our best to get a positive result.”

Midfielder Sanan, who scored in the last meeting against Mohammedan SC, is eager to contribute again. “Scoring against them was a special moment for me. This time, the focus is on contributing to the team’s success, whether it’s scoring or creating chances,” he said. Highlighting the squad’s preparations, he added, “The squad is fully focused, and we know the importance of this match. We are putting in the hard work and will give our best to secure a strong result.”
