Adityapur — The upcoming elections for the Adityapur Small Industries Association (ASIA) moved a step forward today, as all nomination papers filed for various posts were declared valid by the election officials. The scrutiny was conducted at the ASIA Bhawan by Returning Officers S.N. Khandelwal and Sarojkant Jha, and no nomination was found invalid.

Following the verification, the list of valid nominations has been displayed on the official notice board at the ASIA Bhawan office. According to the election officer, candidates may withdraw their nominations by 4 PM on July 15. The final list of contestants will be published by 4 PM on July 16.
Voting on July 19 at Adityapur Auto Cluster
The much-anticipated general elections are set to take place on July 19, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Adityapur Auto Cluster premises. The elections have generated significant buzz among the industrial community in Adityapur.
Key Contests
- For the President’s post, the face-off is between Inder Kumar Agarwal and Santosh Kumar Khetan.
- The General Secretary position will see a contest between Praveen Gutgutia and Santokh Singh.
- For Treasurer, the contenders are Rajkumar Sanghi and Pradeep Kumar Jain.
- For the Trustee post, to be filled through a selection process, the nominations include R.K. Sinha, S.N. Thakur, Dilip Kumar Goyal, Vimal Kumar Singh, and Rajeev Ranjan Munna.
Vice President, Secretary & Executive Committee Contests
- For 4 Vice President positions, nominations were filed by Rajkumar Sanghi, Sudhir Kumar Singh, Devang Gandhi, Santokh Singh, and Dashrath Upadhyay.
- For 4 Secretary positions, nominees include Pinkesh Maheshwari, Mandeep Singh, Ashok Kumar Gupta, and Divyanshu Sinha.
- For 21 Executive Committee seats, 26 industrialists have filed nominations. Prominent names include Anil Kumar Agarwal, Ravindra Singh, Deepak Panchamiya, Swapna Majumdar, Pawan Kumar Agarwal, Ratanlal Agarwal, Kaushal Singhal, Ramesh Khandelwal, Sunil Singh, Rahul Khurana, and Manoj Gutgutia, among others.
With the stage now set for a competitive election, campaigning efforts have intensified. Candidates are actively reaching out to members, seeking support and laying out their visions for ASIA’s development.
