The 619th free eye camp being organized by the East Singhbhum Chapter of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), in association with Ram Manohar Lohia Seva Sansthan, Chimanlal Bhalotia Seva Sansthan, Rajasthan Seva Sadan and the District Rural Health Committee, concluded held at Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya, concluded today with all the operated patients getting discharged.
Prior to their release post surgery tests were conducted on the patients by Dr B P Singh, Dr Poonam Singh, Dr Bharati Sharma and Dr Vivek Kedia. After removal of bandages and checks, the patients were administered requisite medication and provided with dark glasses.
Sponsored by Mr Subhash Moonka, Mr Gopal Moonka and Ms Manju Manju Moonka and their family members in memory of Smt Panna Devi and Banarasi Lal Moonka, this three day eye camp saw many patients with eye ailments visiting the camp on 23rd October out of which 31 patients were operated on 24th instant. On the occasion, Mr Bijay Kumar Singh, Hony Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum Chapter, Mr Balmukund Goel, President, Ram Manohar Lohia Seva Sansthan, social activists Mr Kamal Kishore Ladda, Mr Banwarilal Khandelwal, Mr Kishan Agarwal were present besides family members of sponsors.
Members and volunteers of Indian Red Cross Society and Ram Manohar Lohia Seva Sansthan have helped in successfully organizing the camp and all required COVID19 guidelines have been followed during the camp.
