SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY CROSSES 200 MT IN FREIGHT LOADING DURING FINANCIAL YEAR 2024-25

South Eastern Railway (SER) has achieved a major milestone in freight transportation by crossing 200 Million Tonnes mark in current Financial Year. Till date, SER has loaded 204 MT of freight in the current fiscal. This is a stellar performance by South Eastern Railway.

The four divisions of SER has contributed remarkably in this spectacular Freight loading performance. Chakradharpur division has loaded 148.6 Million Tonnes, Adra division has loaded 27.7 Million Tonnes, Kharagpur division has loaded 24.3 Million Tonnes and Ranchi division has loaded 3.3 Million Tonnes so far.

During April, 2024 to March, 2025 till now, the revenue generation from originating freight loading has been Rs. 18359.38 crore.
