SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY -CHAKRADHARPUR DIVISION OF SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY ACHIEVES RECORD FREIGHT LOADING OF 150 MILLION TONNES

Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway has once again demonstrated its efficiency in freight transportation by achieving an originating freight loading of 150 Million Tonnes (MT). The division has registered this remarkable loading performance from 1st April, 2024 to 26th March, 2025 of the current financial year.
During this period, Chakradharpur Division has loaded 101.84MT of Iron ore, 20.51MT of Coal, 13.44MT of Steel, 12.58MT of Cement. The other goods transported include Food Grains, Fertilizer, POL, Container etc.
Chakradharpur division has also registered increasing trend in revenue generation from feight loading by earning Rs.13030.16 Crore which represents 1.29% growth compared to the previous fiscal.
RUNNING OF SPECIAL TRAINS
It has been decided to run Special trains as per following schedule:
02863/02864 Santragachi-Yesvantpur-Santragachi Special
02863 Santragachi-Yesvantpur Special will leave Santragachi every Thursday from 03.04.2025 to 24.04.2025 at 12.50 hrs and will reach Yesvantpur at 00.55 hrs, the third day. In the return direction, 02864 Yesvantpur-Santragachi Special will leave Yesvantpur every Saturday from 05.04.2025 to 26.04.2025 at 04.30 hrs and will arrive Santragachi at 13.25 hrs, the next day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Kharagpur & Baleshwar in SER jurisdiction.
08563/08564 Jagdalpur-Thakurnagar-Jagdalpur Special
08563 Jagdalpur-Thakurnagar Special will leave Jagdalpur on 26.03.2025 at 08.00 hrs and will reach Thakurnagar at 10.45 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 08564 Thakurnagar-Jagdalpur Special will leave Thakurnagar on 28.03.2025 at 18.00 hrs and will reach Jagdalpur at 22.45 hrs, the next day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, Kharagpur & Andul in SER jurisdiction.

08373 Kesinga-Thakurnagar Special will leave Kesinga on 27.03.2025 at 16.10 hrs and will reach Thakurnagar at 10.45 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 08374 Thakurnagar-Kesinga Special will leave Thakurnagar on 28.03.2025 at 20.30 hrs and will reach Kesinga at 14.45 hrs, the next day.
