JAMSHEDPUR NEWS : Tata Steel UISL Inaugurates 1000 KLD Packaged Sewage Treatment Plant at Kadma

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel UISL has taken a significant step toward sustainable urban infrastructure development with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art 1000 KLD (Kiloliters per Day) Packaged Sewage Treatment Plant (PSTP) at C Block, Professional Flats, Kadma.

The facility was inaugurated today by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, in the presence of Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL; Pranay Sinha, Chief, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, Varun Bajaj, Chief, Town Infrastructure & Logistics, Sanjeev Kumar Jha, General Manager, Water and Wastewater Services and Raghunath Pandey, President, JUSCO Shramik Union.

This advanced sewage treatment plant demonstrates Tata Steel UISL’s commitment to environmental sustainability and water management. Designed to treat wastewater efficiently, the PSTP will play a pivotal role in recycling and reusing treated water for various purposes, thereby reducing environmental impact and conserving natural resources.

The PSTP is a packaged, modular solution, equipped with advanced filtration and treatment technologies, making it energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. The plant will cater to the sewage treatment needs of the residents in the locality, promoting a cleaner and healthier living environment.
