Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur grounds played host to the Inter JDC Cross Country 2025, organised by the Tata Steel Sports Department, today. The event saw participation from 120 athletes across various JDC units, all converging to showcase their fitness and wellness prowess in this highly anticipated cross-country competition.
The event, aimed at promoting fitness and wellness among employees, witnessed intense competition in both men’s and women’s categories. Athletes pushed their limits to claim top honours in a challenging cross-country race that tested their endurance, speed, and determination.

1. *1st Place*: Kalyani Besra (BIB No: 636) – Sinter Plant
2. *2nd Place*: Geeta Hansda (BIB No: 634) – Sinter Plant
3. *3rd Place*: Vidyatma Rani (BIB No: 637) – Sinter Plant
The championship titles were decided based on the cumulative performance of participants from each department. EQMS took home the Men’s Championship title with 85 points, narrowly edging out HRM with 88 points. In the Women’s Championship, Sinter Plant dominated the leaderboard with 44 points, followed closely by HRM with 59 points.
The event concluded on a high note, with winners being felicitated for their outstanding performances
