Jamshedpur: Tata Steel was selected as the winner of the RAHSTA Award 2025 in the “Most Innovative Material” category for their flagship brand – Tata Dureco.
Tata Dureco (Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag), a CII-GreenPro certified green product offering from the Industrial By-Products Management Division (IBMD) of Tata Steel is being extensively used in developing various nation-building projects across the country. A downstream product generated from Blast furnace slag, is our flagship brand helping in transitioning the future of construction materials through sustainable, green offering.
Team IBMD received the award on behalf of Tata Steel. The award ceremony was held on September 4 at Jio Convention Centre, Mumbai.
Tata Dureco (Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag) is widely used in the construction of National Highways and infrastructure development across the region. It has been extensively used in the major Nation Building projects, including but not limited to Marquee projects like Vrindavan Chandrodaya Temple, Ganga River Bridge in Patna, Baitarni Power plant in Odisha among others, hence contributing to green construction across India.
Tata Steel was also appreciated and recognised for its continuous effort in promoting sustainable practices and being the front-runner in waste and by-products management on such a large scale.
