Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Corporate Communications Department organised a Media Quiz on the occasion of the 166th Birth Anniversary of Sir Dorabji Tata, one of the pioneering leaders of the Tata Group and a visionary behind the progress of Tata Steel.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the media fraternity of Jamshedpur, with more than 50 journalists registering for the competition. After multiple engaging rounds, the top five teams, each comprising two members, advanced to the final stage of the quiz, where their knowledge and quick thinking were tested across a range of media and current affairs topics including life & work of Sir Dorabji Tata.
The Winner of the quiz was team comprising Parvinder Bhatia & Manpreet Singh Bhatia, while First Runner-up position was bagged by the team of Ajani Kumar Pandey and Nanak Singh. Team of Pashupati Nath Mishra and Sanjay Prasad clinched Second Runner Up position.
The winning teams were felicitated by senior journalists including Mr. Jai Prakash Rai, Editor, Chamakta Aina, and Mr. B. Srinivas, Bureau Chief, Press Trust of India and Mr. Rajesh Rajan, Head Raw Materials and Jharkhand of Corporate Communications, Tata Steel.
The event was graced by the presence of several eminent media personalities from leading media houses of Jamshedpur.

The quiz served as a vibrant platform to celebrate the spirit of journalism while paying tribute to Sir Dorabji Tata’s legacy of pioneering vision, leadership, and nation-building.
